Upon landing (an experience in itself) you will both enjoy an ice cold glass of champagne to celebrate. A perfect end to a perfect hot air balloon ride! On arrival at your chosen launch site you will be met by your pilot for the day who will register and welcome you to the fascinating world of hot air ballooning. You will then be briefed on the day`s agenda with a simple introduction to Balloon Flights and Hot Air Balloon Rides. The pilot will then deliver a full safety briefing, before inviting interested passengers to marvel in the delights of preparing the hot air balloon for take off. This involves gently inflating the hot air balloon to almost seven storeys high before a short blast of the burners will whisk you into the skies. Once airborne you will fly whichever way the wind is blowing (one of ballooning`s many mysteries) for approximately an hour. |
