During the half day course you will drive and be driven around our classic 2 mile Welsh Forest Rally Stage. Enjoy the thrill of doing handbrake turns and taking part in a timed competition to decide the course winner. The winner of the timed competition wins a bottle of bubbly and there are certificates for all competitors. The day includes the exciting finale with you as passenger being driven by our professional instructor at full rally speed through our forest lined course. Itinerary:(Timings are approximate)Courses are run in the morning & afternoon - It is imperative you arrive in good time, failure to arrive on time will result in forfeiting your slot. 08:45 or 12:45 - Arrive at Cambrian House for signing on. Follow instructor in your own car to the forest stage. 09:00 or 13:00 - Depart for Forest. 09:15 or 13:15 - Short theory session on loose surface car control 09:30 or 13:30 - Start training exercises with familiarisation of 2-mile forest stage. Each participant will drive the rally car around the course with the instructor, who will guide you through loose surface rally driving. 10:30 or 14:30 - In turn each participant will attempt specific tasks, handbrake turns, etc Plus further run onto forest stage. 11:30 or 15:30 - Timed run will commence. The winner to spray bubbly! 12:00 or 16:00 - High speed passenger ride on the forest stages 12:45 or 16:45 - Depart forest for home. |
